Yoga, Meditation and Sound bath

Enjoy a relaxing restorative yoga practice blended with pranayama, meditation, and sound to soothe.

***You will need to bring some equipment with you for this session***

We recommend you bring with you a Yoga, Pilates or fitness mat to lay down on. Pillows, cushion x2, or yoga bolster if you have one, x2 blankets or throw, towel or yoga blanket to keep you comfy and warm.


This will involve a gentle yoga practice with the use of props, pillows and bolsters to help you relax into a natural state of homeostasis where the body is relaxed and mind is calm.

Use of pranayama & mudras to help focus energy of the body mind connection.

Meditation to soothe you into those delicious theta brain waves using yoga Nidra. Visualisations and body scanning with other mindful applications.

Using sound instruments to gentle tap into the energy vibrations to penetrate deeply into the bodies energy systems and cells to help relax and release unwanted tensions and stresses.

This is ideal for anyone who just wants to let go, relax and unwind.

 

The power of sound has been around for centuries and used by many ancient cultures. More discoveries about sound effects on wellness are being discovered even in the 21st century. You always know which sound or favourite piece of music lifts your spirits and which brings back those old memories of good times gone. 

 

Sound wellness can help relax the body and relieve tension. It can help rebalance the body's energy, making you feel refreshed with a sense of calm.

 

What does sound wellness involve;

 

Sound wellness involves the use of either one specific instrument or varying pieces of musical equipment like the beautiful Tibetan singing bowel and the Chinese Wind gong to name a few. We use at least 5 different instruments at our sessions. These and other instruments are orchestrated in a deliberate way to help ease you into a relaxed and rested state of being.

 

You will be lying down for the whole session so you will need bring a yoga mat,  blankets, cushions or a bolster and if you have one, an eye pillow. The items are required to help you feel warm and comfortable throughout the session.

 

We offer 1-2-1 classes in sound wellness.

 

This involves tailoring sound wellness to your needs. Prices start from £45 without room hire or travel fuel charges.
