Location: Hedley Woods **we have permission from landowners to operate on this site**

We will meet at the venue car park (free parking) and walk together as a group to our permitted location. (We have full permission from the land owners to operate at this site).

Evening Pranayama, kriya, mantra and meditation for beginners and those with some experience.

Want to learn more about pranayama and Kriya? This could be for you. The breath and meditation are said to be a great way to relax and unwind and with so many getting on board including athletes, the science on pranayama and meditation is looking promising for health and wellbeing. 

Either seated or supine asana or poses, ideally you will have already available warm comfy loose clothing, a cushion, throw or blanket. Optional pillow or bolster an eye pillow.

Hatha Yoga-Stretch relax and unwind ready for the weekend (What you have around the house can be used as a substitute, but we recommend you do use a yoga mat).

Inversions and Arm Balances (Learning to fly in yoga)

           

Inversions and Arm balances -Accessible arm balance and inversions session using yoga props. This session is ideal for beginners and those with a little experience of yoga inversions and arm balances. If you want to learn how to access more difficult poses and to improve your confidence in a playful and explorative way of making asana work for you then this session could be for you. 

*** At home you will need plenty of space to access poses, a yoga mat, a yoga chair or sturdy table chair with no arms, yoga bricks and blocks ideally or equivalent to what you have at home and a yoga belt or equivalent***

This session may not be suitable for those with eye pressure issues, those who are pregnant, and those with high blood pressure or heart related issues. ***We highly recommend you check with your GP before booking***

Yoga, Meditation and Sound bath

Thursday 6.30-7.30pm

Enjoy a relaxing restorative yoga practice blended with pranayama, meditation, and sound to soothe.

***You will need to bring some equipment with you for this session***

We recommend you bring with you a Yoga, Pilates or fitness mat to lay down on. Pillows, cushion x2, or yoga bolster if you have one, x2 blankets or throw, towel or yoga blanket to keep you comfy and warm.

 

 

Class information & FAQ’s


Classes are mixed ability and are suited to those with no experience of yoga and those with experience.
We are a community of adults all ages, all flexibility levels, all fitness levels, and backgrounds. 
Our classes and asanas are adaptable to support access to most yoga poses and we offer a supportive and caring non-judgemental class environment. 


***We ask that all attendees leave the ego at the door, and to practise yoga mindfully and safely within their current range of ability. Yoga is after all about supporting and nurturing the mind and body, any tension created in the body affects and creates tension in the mind taking your practise away from yoga’s intension which is to find a sense of balance between them both.
***If you have any health-related issues, please seek advice from your GP before practising yoga. Any new injuries or health issues that could affect your access to asana or pranayama please let us know in the PARQ-Fit form on the website or at least before class.

Bookings & Cancellations Policy

 

Once booked all classes are none refundable or transferable unless the class is cancelled by Blue Skies Yoga. In this case funds may be transferred onto another session or fully refunded.

 

Due to the nature of hiring from other providers and companies we operate a 24 hour cut off time for all class bookings. So if you want to book for any class the closing time for booking is 24 hours before the class start time at latest.

 

Booking can be paid via Pay Pal (as friends) using the form below.

Please complete your details and select the session you wish to attend. Once funds are received you will be sent booking confirmation via message or email. Alternatively, if you’d like to pay as business please add £1 extra to any payment to cover the charges. Not on Pay Pal? We can offer online bank transfer information too. Just get in touch. Please read the Class information/FAQ prior to taking any classes.
